Using Turkish documents in Brazil
The Convention entered into force for Brazil on 14 August 2016. Public documents issued in Türkiye are generally accepted by the authorities in Brazil with an apostille; no consular legalisation is needed.
Authorities in Brazil usually ask for a certified translation into Portuguese. Some accept a Turkish sworn translation that has been notarised and apostilled; others prefer a translation by a sworn translator in Brazil. Thanks to our international network we can offer both options.
