When do you need a certified translation?
Public authorities, consulates, universities and courts usually accept a foreign-language document only together with a certified translation. Residence permits, citizenship, marriage, degree recognition, visas and company formation are the most common cases.

What is the difference between a certified and a notarised translation?
In a certified translation the sworn translator confirms the translation with their stamp and signature. In a notarised translation a Turkish notary additionally certifies the translator's signature and sworn status. The receiving authority decides which one is needed; ask us if you are unsure.
Can I send my documents by e-mail?
Yes. A legible scan or photo is usually enough for the quote and the translation. Where the original is required (for example for an apostille) we will explain the courier and hand-over options.
