Using Turkish documents in Italy
The Convention entered into force for Italy on 11 February 1978. Public documents issued in Türkiye are generally accepted by the authorities in Italy with an apostille; no consular legalisation is needed.
Authorities in Italy usually ask for a certified translation into Italian. Some accept a Turkish sworn translation that has been notarised and apostilled; others prefer a translation by a sworn translator in Italy. Thanks to our international network we can offer both options.
