Using Turkish documents in Spain
The Convention entered into force for Spain on 25 September 1978. Public documents issued in Türkiye are generally accepted by the authorities in Spain with an apostille; no consular legalisation is needed.
Authorities in Spain usually ask for a certified translation into Spanish. Some accept a Turkish sworn translation that has been notarised and apostilled; others prefer a translation by a sworn translator in Spain. Thanks to our international network we can offer both options.
