Using Turkish documents in China
The Convention entered into force for China on 7 November 2023. Public documents issued in Türkiye are generally accepted by the authorities in China with an apostille; no consular legalisation is needed.
Authorities in China usually ask for a certified translation into Chinese. Some accept a Turkish sworn translation that has been notarised and apostilled; others prefer a translation by a sworn translator in China. Thanks to our international network we can offer both options.
