Using Turkish documents in Kazakhstan
The Convention entered into force for Kazakhstan on 30 January 2001. Public documents issued in Türkiye are generally accepted by the authorities in Kazakhstan with an apostille; no consular legalisation is needed.
Authorities in Kazakhstan usually ask for a certified translation into Kazakh, Russian. Some accept a Turkish sworn translation that has been notarised and apostilled; others prefer a translation by a sworn translator in Kazakhstan. Thanks to our international network we can offer both options.
