Using Turkish documents in Kyrgyzstan
The Convention entered into force for Kyrgyzstan on 31 July 2011. Public documents issued in Türkiye are generally accepted by the authorities in Kyrgyzstan with an apostille; no consular legalisation is needed.
Authorities in Kyrgyzstan usually ask for a certified translation into Kyrgyz, Russian. Some accept a Turkish sworn translation that has been notarised and apostilled; others prefer a translation by a sworn translator in Kyrgyzstan. Thanks to our international network we can offer both options.
Kyrgyzstan acceded to the Convention and some contracting states have objected to its accession; the apostille does not apply in relations with objecting states. We confirm for every file that the apostille is accepted between Türkiye and Kyrgyzstan.
