Using Turkish documents in Greece
The Convention entered into force for Greece on 18 May 1985. Public documents issued in Türkiye are generally accepted by the authorities in Greece with an apostille; no consular legalisation is needed.
Authorities in Greece usually ask for a certified translation into Greek. Some accept a Turkish sworn translation that has been notarised and apostilled; others prefer a translation by a sworn translator in Greece. Thanks to our international network we can offer both options.
