Using Turkish documents in Hungary
The Convention entered into force for Hungary on 18 January 1973. Public documents issued in Türkiye are generally accepted by the authorities in Hungary with an apostille; no consular legalisation is needed.
Authorities in Hungary usually ask for a certified translation into Hungarian. Some accept a Turkish sworn translation that has been notarised and apostilled; others prefer a translation by a sworn translator in Hungary. Thanks to our international network we can offer both options.
