Using Turkish documents in Romania
The Convention entered into force for Romania on 16 March 2001. Public documents issued in Türkiye are generally accepted by the authorities in Romania with an apostille; no consular legalisation is needed.
Authorities in Romania usually ask for a certified translation into Romanian. Some accept a Turkish sworn translation that has been notarised and apostilled; others prefer a translation by a sworn translator in Romania. Thanks to our international network we can offer both options.
